Jill Hennessy

Jill Hennessy one of Canada's highest-paid TV actors was born on November 25, 1968 in Edmonton, Alberta. She was in Law and Order. Chris Noth was her co-star. Hennessy was raised in Edmonton. John Hennessy, her father was a marketing executive in sales and meat salesman. The job involved frequent travel for his family. Maxine was a secretary and was the mother of her son, left the family in 1982. Their daughter Eleanor raised her in Kitchener Ontario. Jacqueline Hennessy, an identical twin, a writer for magazines who lives in Canada and John Paul J.P. Hennessy Jr. are her brothers. Hennessy is of Irish French Swedish and Italian family ancestry from her father's side and mostly Ukrainian Roma as well as Austrian ancestry on her mother's. She attended Grand River Collegiate Institute, Kitchener Ontario. She used to act in Toronto's subway. Hennessy began her acting career along with her sister on Dead Ringers, 1988. Her name was on the short list for the part of Dana Scully on The X-Files according to Gillian Anderson the actress who ultimately got the part. She married Paolo Mastropietro in 2000. They have two sons.
