Her childhood was a turbulent one. When Pickler was just 2, her mother ran away to protect her from an abusive family. Then she returned to Pickler's world in 1995 when she became the mother of her. The situation did not work out the way she had hoped. Pickler's grandparents raised her from 12 to she reached adulthood. With the loss of their parents Pickler was too busy being a parent to her children. The time she had was limited, and she figured out how to take care of her family at a young time. Pickler was a member of the cheerleading teams of her middle and high school. North Stanly High School, where she was a graduate in 2004 it was her high school.
