Pickler was born Kellie dawn Pickler 28 June 1986. Pickler had a difficult childhood. When Pickler was just 2, her mother ran away to protect her from an abusive family. Her mother returned in 1995 back to her home and was given the full custody. It did not work out very well. Pickler, then 12, was remanded to her parents by judge. They raised her until she turned an adult. In the absence of their parents Pickler became too busy caring for her siblings. According to her, because she didn't have time for study, she decided to learn how to cook and clean at an early time. Pickler was a member of her middle school and high school's cheerleading team. North Stanly High School was the school where she graduated in 2004. Pickler has also been a contestant in a beauty pageant. In the past, she was crowned Miss Stanly county. of Miss Stanly county.
