Ina-Garten
Ina Garten has been a popular American writer of cook books for a number of decades. Ina is also the Emmy-winning host of Food Networks longest running show Barefoot Contessa that began in 2002. Ina started writing policies and nuclear energy papers for the White House. She initially found her career to be intellectually stimulating, however she soon lost interest, and purchased a tiny speciality store for food named Barefoot Contessa. It took her nearly 18 years to make the shop extremely successful before she closed it. Then she began writing her first cookbook. Other cookbooks followed, as did magazine columns. Another success came from the Food Network Television show. She also sells everything from equipment to cooking supplies and containers. Ina is a cook who has learned by herself who has not attended a cooking school and has never been in an kitchen. Ina is known for her relaxed way of making food and hosting. Some of her most popular recipes are Skillet and Roasted Lemon Chicken Mac and cheese, Mac, Beef Bourguignon and cheese, Beatty's Chocolate Cake as well as Lemon Bars.
