Born on October 18, 1984 American Alpine Skier Lindsey Vonn who is now retired, won four World Cup competitions and the downhill gold medal at the 2010 Winter Olympics. She ranks second amongst all female and male skiers in terms of super scores. She is the top skier ever and the most popular across her home country of the United States. Caroline Vonn, a World Cup winning alpine skier from the United States who goes by the name Lindsey Vonn represents the US Ski Team. She has won the overall World Cup competition four times. She is one of the most famous athletes in American time. Only six women have won all five World Cup alpine ski events. The American has won 82 World Cup titles in all. Following the World Championships held in Sweden one of the top and most accomplished ski racers in America is set to retire. Four-time World Cup winner decided to quit after suffering from several ailments. Her announcement of retirement was made on social media.
